Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 1,276 as 17 more die

KATHMANDU: A total of 17 COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,276 as of Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile, s many as 2,103 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 215,020 with fresh cases as of Thursday afternoon.

A total of 2,858 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 185,638 in the country.

Nepal currently has 28,106 active cases.

Likewise, 767 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.
