Journalist Gokarna Gautam passes away



KATHMANDU: Journalist Gokarna Gautam passed away on Thursday morning. Gautam, who was associated with Kantipur Publications, died during surgery for a brain aneurysm.

He was admitted to the Bansbari-based Upendra Devkota Memorial National Institute of Neurological and Allied Sciences on Monday.

He died at 11:30 am this morning.

Gautam, 31, from Hetauda, was a film and art critic and used to also write on current affairs.

He had spent more than five years in ‘Nepal Weekly’, a magazine published by Kantipur Publications.
