Three succumb to COVID-19 in Pokhara

POKHARA: Three people have died at different hospitals in Pokhara due to the coronavirus infection.

One COVID-19 patient died each at Gandaki Medical College, Fishtail Hospital and Research Center and Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences, said Spokesperson of Gandaki Province Corona Control and Prevention Program Dr. Binod Bindu Sharma said.

A 75-year-old woman of Pokhara Metropolitan City-17 died while undergoing treatment at Gandaki Medical College on Thursday morning.

Similarly, an 83-year-old woman of Pokhara Metropolitan City-9 died at Fishtail Hospital and Research this morning.

Suffering from respiratory as well as pneumonia and hypertension, she was diagnosed with the infection on November 10.

Likewise, a 71-year-old man from Baglung died at the Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences on Wednesday night.

He was diagnosed with the infection on November 15.
