India’s COVID-19 death toll crosses 131,600 mark



KATHMANDU: India recorded 45,439 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 8,958,143.

Currently, 444,755 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 8,381,770 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 131,600 mark.

With 587 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 131,618, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
