Govt decides to set up 2,000 high dependency beds in Valley within 15 days



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to set up 2,000 high dependency beds in Kathmandu Valley within 15 days and 200 in the worst affected districts.

Government Spokesperson and Minister for Communications, Information and Technology Parbat Gurung said so while announcing the decisions of the Cabinet meeting on Monday.

He said that the High Dependency Unit would be constructed within 15 days by upgrading the health facilities currently operating as COVID Hospital with necessary facilities and equipment.
