66 additional cases in Gandaki Province, tally reaches 3,402



POKHARA: As many as 66 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in Gandaki Province on Saturday morning.

According to the latest information provided by the state health directorate , the number of coronavirus cases in Gandaki has reached 3,402 with the new confirmed cases.

According to Binod Bindu Sharma, the spokesperson for the COVID-19 Control and Prevention Program of Gandaki Pradesh,  45 persons from Nawalparasi East, 13 from Kaski, three from Tanahun,  two each from Parbat and Syangja and one from Lamjung have been infected with the coronavirus.

Out of them, one is a doctor working at Pokhara University, one is in the Nepal Army and the other one is a health volunteer, said Dr Sharma.

Preparations are underway to take them to the isolation centers of their respective districts, Sharma added.
