Coronavirus cases cross 5.3 million in India

KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus cases has crossed 5.3 million in India as of Saturday morning.

With 92,789 cases in the past 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 5,305,475 in the country.

Currently, 1,014,649 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 4,205,201 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed 85,000.

With 1,221 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 85,625according to Worldometer.
