Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, Ishwar Pokhrel paid tribute to the Rashtrakavi Madhav Prasad Ghimire at his house in Lainchaur.
KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, Ishwar Pokhrel paid tribute on behalf the Government of Nepal to the Rashtrakavi (National Poet) the late Madhav Prasad Ghimire at his house in Lainchaur today.
On the occasion, DPM Pokhrel draped the Rashtrakavi’s mortal remains with the national flag.
The National Poet passed away on Tuesday evening at the age of 101 years. His last rites would be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat cremation place in a while.
