Nepalis arriving Kathmandu via five flights today



KATHMANDU: Nepali people stranded in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and the Maldives are coming to Nepal on Friday.

A total of 148 Nepali people are arriving in Kathmandu from the UAE via a flight of Nepal Airlines. Most of those being airlifted are pregnant women, according to the Nepali Embassy.

Similarly, 180 people are coming to Nepal from Saudi Arabia via a flight of Himalaya Airlines. The airbus bus will land at 6:50 am today, informed Raj Kumar Chhetri, the Spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).

Likewise, 150 Nepalis will arrive today from the Maldives and some Nepalis are arriving from Kuwait and Qatar.
