KATHMANDU: Leader of the main opposition party Nepali Congress Gagan Thapa has expressed anger over the failure to rescue stranded Nepali citizens in the Indian border area.

He also lashed out at the government’s recent policies and programs for not envisaging effective means of coronavirus control.

Speaking at a meeting of House of Representatives on Monday, leader Thapa also said that the government which could not save the lives of the people can’t bring back the lands encroached by India.

Stating that the coronavirus infection is becoming more frightening in Nepal, he urged the government to be serious immediately.
