Deliver essential services with one-third employees: Home Ministry



KATHMANDU: The government has tightened the lockdown as coronavirus infections are on the rise in Nepal.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has set certain criteria for the operation of essential services during the lockdown period extended until June 2.

The Ministry has directed banks and financial institutions, insurance, stock exchange, cooperatives to provide services by one-third of the required employees.

Likewise, it has directed to run the government offices and public institutions that provide much-needed services by following the prescribed health care standards through the most required minimum staff.
