KATHMANDU: Swab samples of 25 people from 12 houses in a sealed settlement have been collected after the coronavirus was confirmed at Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-4, Shankhadhar Chowk.

A 25-year-old woman living in a rented room of a friend in the locality was confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus.

The swab samples of people living in the house and neighboring houses were collected today.

Chief of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality Madan Sundar Shrestha said that new people were barred from entering the settlement to keep all the settlements safe after the coronavirus was found in the area.
