Province-2 records 131 cases of COVID-19



JANAKPURDHAM: A total of 131 COVID-19 cases have been reported in the Province-2 as of today.

With new nine cases of COVID-19 reported today including eight from Rautahat and one from Bara district, the tally of COVID-19 patients in the Province has reached 131 from earlier 122, according to the Ministry of Health and Population of Province-2.

Among eight districts in the Province, 21 persons from Rautahat have been tested positive for COVID-19 till date while five from Bara and 91 from Parsa districts have been infected with the deadly contagion.

Similarly, five persons from Dhanusha, four from Mahottari, three from Sarlahi and one each from Saptari and Siraha districts have contracted the flu-like infection, the Ministry said.
