COVID-19 test postponed in Salyan



SALYAN: The shortage of COVID-19 test kits here has resulted in a postponement of coronavirus test in the district.

According to Dr Arjun Kumar Budha, chief of District Health Office, the coronavirus tests on suspected people have halted after all kits provided by the State government were already finished.

The District Hospital had tested 113 persons in Kumakh rural municipality and 68 in Siddha rural municipality. The reports of 51 received so far have tested negative.

The district had earlier planned to conduct COVID-19 tests in Sharada municipality and Bagchaur municipality on Saturday and in Bangadhe Kupinde municipality and Kalimati rural municipality on Sunday.
