KATHMANDU: The first international friendly football match between Nepal England’s ‘C’ team has been postponed.

The match scheduled for May 25 to be played in England has been postponed due to the fear over COVID-19 pandemic, All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) said.

The ANFA said the game has been postponed until a new date was fixed.

The ANFA and Football Association of England had reached an agreement in January to organize two friendly matches.

The second friendly match will be played in Nepal in 2021.
