Beshisahar-Chame roadway resumes

LAMJUNG: Beshisahar-Chame road section disrupted yesterday has resumed today.

The road section in Gandaki State was disrupted after landslides at different places.

Sub-engineer at Road Division Office, Damauli, Suman Adhikari, informed that the traffic was resumed from 2:00 pm today after clearing landslide debris at different four places along the roadway.

Sunny weather helped intensify the clearance of debris, he added.

With the resumption of the roadway, the tourists along the Annapurna trekking route have also been benefitted, said a resident of Marsyangdi rural municipality, Bhim Bahadur Gurung.

He, however, complained that road quality is poor. Even light rain causes obstruction and damages to it.
