Kathmandu Valley records 287 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 287 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 202 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, nine in Bhaktapur, and 76 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 782 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 252,474 in the country as of Friday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 9,317 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 1,029 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 241,392 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, 16 persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1,765.
