KATHMANDU: Former Maoist leaders and Standing Committee members Haribol Gajurel and Top Bahadur Rayamajhi have held a meeting with Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Wednesday morning.
The meeting has taken place at Dahal’s residence at Khumaltar at time when the ruling NCP has reached a critical phase.
Gajurel and Rayamajhi returned to Kathmandu from Sindhuli yesterday. The are considered close to Dahal.
Dahal-Nepal faction has been dissatisfied over the issues including cabinet reformation, ambassadorial appointments and the Prime Minister’s meeting with the chief of Research and Analysis Wing, the foreign intelligence agency of India.
The intra-party dispute reached a critical juncture after Dahal submitted a seven-page-long political dossier addressing Prime Minister Oli recently.
