Province 1 records 474 new cases, 15 recoveries



BIRATNAGAR: A total of 474 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in Province 1 in the last 24 hours when 1,468 samples tested through the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR).

According to the Ministry of Social Development, 265 people have been found infected in Morang, 93 in Sunsari, 56 in Jhapa, 29 in Udayapur, 7 in Ilam, 5 in Sankhuwasabha, 2 in Bhojpur, one each in Dhankuta, Tehrathum, Panchthar, and Okhaldhunga and 13 outside Province 1.

With the new cases, the number of coronavirus infections in Province 1 has reached 13,656.

In the last 24 hours, 15 people have been discharged in Province 1. The number of discharges has reached 5,575 so far.
