42-yr-old from Bardiya dies of COVID-19 in Nepalgunj



BARDIYA: A 42-year-old male from Thakur Baba Municipality-6 of Bardiya has died of coronavirus in Nepalgunj.

Chief of the District Health Office Gokarna Giri informed that he died in the course of treatment at Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj this morning.

He was admitted to Nepalgunj Teaching Hospital in Kohalpur on October 1. During the treatment, he tested positive for the virus on October 3.

He was then referred to Bheri Hospital for further treatment. He had no chronic ailments.

With this, the number of deaths from coronavirus in Bardiya has reached six.
