NMA concerned over govt’s apathy towards Dr KC



KATHMANDU: Nepal Medical Association (NMA) has slammed the government for paying no heed to the demands of senior orthopedic surgeon Dr Govinda KC.

Issuing a press note on Friday, NMA has drawn the government’s attention towards the demands of Govind KC who has been staging a hunger strike at Chandannath municipality-6 in Jumla district for the last five days.

Dr KC has been staging a hunger strike in Ranichaur of the district demanding reforms in the medical education including quality education.

NMA in the press note has stated that the government should address the demands of KC without delay and save his life, warning a stringent action ahead if his demands were not met.
