Biratnagar records 44 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hrs

MORANG: Biratnagar Metropolitan City that has been turning into COVID-19 hotspot recorded 44 fresh cases in the last 24 hours.

According to Public Health Official of the Metropolis Rajendra Kuinkel, the infection has been found in 18 women and 26 men.

As many as 11 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in Biratnagar-11, 10 in ward no 8, three each in ward numbers 6 and 12 and two each from ward numbers 7 and 14.

Likewise, one person each from wards 1, 3, 5, 9, 15 and 16 too have contracted the coronavirus.
