Home Minister’s escorting car hits scooter, 2 injured



KATHMANDU: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa’s escorting vehicle has hit a scooter injuring two people near Singh Durbar this morning.

The vehicle — Ba 1 jha 5594 — hit a scooter (Ba 94 Pa 1025) this morning injuring the scooter rider as well as pillion rider near the Singha Durbar western gate at around 9.30 am.

According to Nepal Police, the vehicle was heading towards Home Minister’s residence to fetch him when the accident occurred.

The injured are undergoing treatment for minor injury.
