Nonagenarian succumbs to COVID-19 at Dhulikhel Hospital

KATHMANDU: An elderly man has died from coronavirus at Dhulikhel Hospital on Tuesday morning.

A 98-year-old man died while undergoing treatment at the hospital, informed Chief District Officer of Kavre Shrawan Kumar Timalsina.

He was confirmed to have been infected with the virus during PCR tests at the hospital on August 11. However, it is yet to be officially confirmed by the Ministry of Health and Population.

He was suffering from diabetes and asthma, according to the hospital.
