MYAGDI: A landslide at Arman in Mangala rural municipality-5 has blocked Hilbang rivulet, posing risk to the settlements at Khanibas, Kharapani and Kursila.

The landslide blocked Hilbang rivulet, locally known as Thado Khola at Pakhu Community Forest in Arman village, creating an artificial lake on Monday afternoon, ward chair of Mangala-5 Bhupendra Bahadur Khatri said.

Meanwhile, locals living below the artificial lake have been urged to take precaution.
