Coronavirus kills 77, 932, infects 2,048,697 in Brazil



KATHMANDU: The death toll from Coronavirus in Brazil has crossed 77, 000 in the last six months.

According to the latest figures collaged by Worldometer, the death toll has reached 77, 932 after 1,110 new deaths were reported in the last 24 houors.

With new 33,959 cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 2,048,697 as of so far.

Currently, 603,990 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 8,318 are critical. Meanwhile, 1,366,775 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China on last December, 2019, the deadly virus has killed 598,419 and infected 14,174,345 so far globally.
