Police raid Bomjon’s ashram in Sindhuli



KATHMANDU: Police have raided the ashram of ‘ascetic’ Ram Bahadur Bomjon in Sindhuli on Thursday.

Bomjon has been alleged of murders and rapes inside his ashram.

A Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) team raided Bomjan’s ashram in Sindhuli acting on a tipoff. However, police were not able to find him today as well.

Police searched Bomjon in all the buildings and he nearby forest but could not find him.

Police had in February 7 raided Bomjon’s ashram just to return empty-handed.

He has been accused of rapes and murders. As many as five cases have been filed against him for murdering his disciple, raping a nun, and making a disciple and three nuns disappear.
