KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli is holding discussion on the citizenship bill with Nepali Congress (NC) leaders at Baluwatar later today.

The citizenship bill is under consideration in the parliamentary State Affairs Committee (SAC) since August 2018.

The SAC has not been able to forge consensus about naturalized citizenship to those marrying a Nepali citizen.

Party sources said PM Oli as well as other leaders will meet NC leaders to discuss the citizenship bill as well as other contemporary issues.
