Consular services to remain closed until further notice: US Embassy

KATHMANDU: The US Embassy in Kathmandu has said that the embassy remains closed to routine consular services, including all visa interviews, until further notice.

In a tweet on Thursday, the Embassy said that normal operations will only resume once conditions meet US & int’l health guidelines.

“As these decisions are conditions-based, it is not possible to provide a specific date upon which services will resume. We do not expect to commence routine visa operations in the near future. Please continue to monitor our website for any updates in regards to operating status,” reads the tweet.
