Mustang, Rasuwa and Okhaldhunga unaffected by coronavirus

KATHMANDU: Coronavirus infection cases in Nepal are increasing every single day. A total of 586 new infection cases were reported in the country on Wednesday.

A person was diagnosed with the COVID-19 in Manang district on Thursday morning. With this, the coronavirus has spread to 74 districts out of 77 in Nepal.

Only three districts – Okhaldhunga of Pradesh 1, Mustang of Gandaki Pradesh and Rasuwa of Bagmati Pradesh have remained unaffected by the virus.

Originally from Kapilvastu Banganga-14, a 57-year-old man was infected with coronavirus on Thursday morning.

According to a press note issued by the Ministry of Social Development of Gandaki Pradesh, he has recently gone to Manang from Kapilvastu.

Out of 14 districts in Pradesh 1, only one district Okhaldhunga has remained unaffected by the deadly virus.

Similarly, the other district which is unaffected by the virus is Mustang of Gandaki Pradesh. Ten other districts except in Gandaki Pradesh have been affected by the virus.
