Over 300 Nepalis arriving from Kuwait, Oman and Malaysia today



KATHMANDU: Over 300 Nepali people stranded in Kuwait, Oman and Malaysia are coming to Nepal on Thursday.

According to Raj Kumar Chhetri, the Spokesperson at the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, 150 Nepalis will come from Kuwait, 180 from Oman and some Nepalis from Malaysia.

A Jazeera Airways flight will bring Nepali people from Kuwait and a chartered flight of Salam Air airlift them from Oman. Similarly, Himalaya Airlines will rescue Nepalis from Malaysia.

The Nepal government has been rescuing Nepalis stranded in various parts of the world since June 5.

As many as 24,148 Nepali people are being rescued from 33 countries across the world on priority basis, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
