COVID-19: Samsi rural municipality sealed for 72 hrs

MAHOTTARI: The number of infection cases has reached 508 in Mahottari after 200 new cases were confirmed on Wednesday.

According to the Pradesh 2 government, 182 people were infected with the coronavirus in Samsi rural municipality alone.

Chief District Office of Mahottari Krishna Bahadur Katuwal said the rural municipality has been sealed for 72 hours following a spike in the number of coronavirus cases.

With this the total number infection cases has reached 276 in Samsi rural municipality.

Similarly, the newly infected include four from Pipara rural municipality, 12 from Balwa rural municipality, while the identity of two others is yet to be ascertained.
