Nepali Police urges people to report mistreatment by security personnel

KATHMANDU: Nepal Police Headquarters has said its attention has been drawn towards the incident of mistreatment by police personnel on the general public in course of enforcing the nationwide lockdown.

It added that necessary investigation has already started against those alleged in the incidents.

Nepal Police has urged all to assist the law enforcement agency in enforcing the lockdown and inform it in case of any mistreatment by security personnel.

It has urged the general public to contact at toll-free number 100 and 1133, police deployment room at 01-4412780 and 9851283273, complaint investigation at 9851293000, Police Spokesperson at 9851292111 and email at ecomplain@nepalpolice.gov.np to register a complaint.
