68 persons in Humla test negative for COVID-19

HUMLA: Some 68 persons, including seven women, who had returned from outside of the district, have tested negative for coronavirus, according to the health service office.

The test was performed on the returnees in four rural municipalities of Humla district.

The test was conducted among 25 at Namkha, 29 at Simkot, 8 at Tajkot and 6 at Aadanchuli through rapid diagnostic test, Office Chief Prem Bahadur Singh said.

Several people who returned their homes to Sarkegadh, Tajkot, Kharpunath, Aadanchuli and Chankheli rural municipalities in Humla district from India and third countries have been quarantined and their swabs would be tested soon, Singh said.
