KATHMANDU: Spain has the second highest number of infection cases with 184, 948 after the United States of America (USA).

According to Worldometer, 4,289 people were infected and 503 died in a single day. This is an increase by 705 in the number of single day infection cases.

A total of 19, 315 people have died due to the novel virus as of Friday morning.

Currently, 90,836 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 7, 371 are critical. Meanwhile, 74, 797 have returned home after recovery.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 134,375 and infecting 2,077,839 people as of Thursday morning.
