Shiva Maya Tumbahamphe confirmed to become Law Minister



KATHMANDU: Former Deputy Speaker Shiva Maya Tumbahamphe is set to become Law Minister.

According to Prime Minister’s Press Advisor Surya Thapa, Tumbahamphe will take the oath of office and secrecy as the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs at 3 pm today,

She had resigned from the post after the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) decided to appoint Agni Prasad Sapkota to the post of Speaker.

Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal has been discharging the duties of law ministry after Samajbadi Party quit the portfolio.
