Two die in Chitwan tourist bus crash (update)

CHITWAN: Two persons died when a tourist bus — Ba 1 Pa 783 — and a truck — Lu 2 Kha 3305 — collided at Ramnagar of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 Friday morning.

They died while receiving treatment, according to District Police Office, Chitwan. The deceased are identified as Nepalis.

28 others have been injured in the mishap. Of them, 21 are Chinese tourists. Eight Chinese nationals are undergoing treatment at Purnao Medical College and 13 at Chitwan Medical College.
