NC parliamentary party meeting today



KATHMANDU: A parliamentary party meeting of the main opposition Nepali Congress is taking place on Friday. It will begin at 1:30 pm in Singha Durbar.

The meeting will dwell on the House of Representatives’ meeting that has been stalled for long owing to the dispute seen in picking the House Speaker.

According to NC parliamentary party chief whip Bal Krishna Khand,  the meeting will hold discussions on the role of the main opposition party to press for convening the parliament meeting at the earliest.

Khand further charged that the executive, judiciary and the legislature have failed to play effective roles.
