28,207 COVID-19 infected in home isolation

KATHMANDU: Out of 30,986 active COVID-19 cases, 28,207 people are in home isolation.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3,402 people in Province 1 are in home isolation, 684 in Province 2, 18,735 in Bagmati, 1,965 in Gandaki, 2,203 in Lumbini, 213 in Karnali, and 1,105 in Sudurpaschim Province.

Meanwhile, 502 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 211,475 with fresh cases as of Tuesday afternoon.

A total of 3,112 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours.

A total of 2,878 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 179,242 in the country.

Nepal currently has 30,986 active cases.

Likewise, 1,003 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.
