COVID-19: Province 1 records five deaths, 481 fresh cases  



BIRATNAGAR: Five more people succumbed to the coronavirus in Province 1 in the last 24 hours.

According to the provincial Ministry of Social Development, three have died in Jhapa and one each in Morang and Sunsari.

With the deaths, the coronavirus death toll in the province has reached 129.

Meanwhile, an additional 481 infections have been reported in Province 1.

According to the Ministry of Social Development, there are 195 cases in Morang, 170 in Sunsari, 72 in Jhapa, 15 in Sankhuwasabha, nine in Ilam, four in Khotang, one in Bhojpur, and 15 outside the province.

The coronavirus tally has hit 13,183 with the new cases.
