290 COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment in ICU

66 on ventilator support



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has said that 290 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 66 have been put on ventilator support.

According to the Ministry of Health, 34 persons are undergoing treatment in ICU in Province 1, 13 in Province 2, 152 in Bagmati Province, 20 in Gandaki Province, 53 in Lumbini Province, nine in Karnali Province, and nine in Sudurpaschim Province.

Spokesperson Dr. Gautam also said that nine in Province 1, one in Province 2, 48 in Bagmati, four in Gandaki Province, one in Lumbini Province, and three in Sudurpaschim Province are on the ventilator support.
