Lumbini Province’s Minister  Baijanath Chaudhary, his wife diagnosed with COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Minister for Infrastructure Development of Lumbini Pradesh Baijanath Chaudhary and his wife have tested positive for coronavirus.

Minister Chaudhary, who is also the spokesperson for the province government, had undergone a PCR test after he showed symptoms of dry cough. His swab sample report came out positive.

His wife Draupati Chaudhary, personal security officer Sundar Budhathoki, driver Yam Bahadur Thapa and cook Parwati Kewat have also been infected  with the virus.

Meawhile, Chaudhary has urged one and all who came into contact with him to undergo PCR tests adn adopt health safety measures.
