COVID-19 case hits 1,572 in Kathmandu Valley

321 discharged after recovery



KATHMANDU: With 168 more cases of coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours, Kathmandu Valley has seen 1,572 COVID-19 cases till date out of which 381 have been discharged after recovery.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Kathmandu district alone has got 1,345 cases till Monday.

Bhaktapur has got 77 cases whereas Lalitpur district has seen 150 cases of coronavirus.

In the meantime, 242 people in Kathmandu, 82 in Lalitpur and 57 in Bhaktapur districts have returned home after recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Ministry, the number is recorded as per the address offered by the patients during swab collection.
