22-year-old youth dies in Karfok quarantine



ILAM: A 22-year-old youth living in Ilam’s Karfok has died in a quarantine last evening.

According to Pema Ugen Lama, the Ward Chair of Suryodaya Municipality-10, an India-returnee youth of Suryodaya-9 living in Karfok quarantine passed away last night.

The youth had shown symptoms such as high fever and chest pain and was offered medication by Suryodaya Municipality’s health team at 10 am on Sunday.

He had been living in the quarantine since August 10 since he arrived there from Hyderabad India.

Although his swab was collected on August 13, the report of PCR test has not come yet.
