VIRGINIA: Economist Professor Dr Bishnu Paudel has passed away at Virginia in the United States of America. He was 89.
Dr Paudel who fainted at home passed away while being rushed to Fairfax Hospital on Wednesday, according to his family members.
PhD in international relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Paudel had moved to settle in the USA 50 years ago.
Due to his influence in the party, leaders of Democratic Party had recommended him thrice for American Ambassador to Nepal.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
