Toxic alcohol victims’ family to get Rs 300,000 each



JANAKPURDHAM: The government of State 2 has announced to provide Rs 300,000 each to the families of those killed due to consumption of toxic hooch.

Chief Minister Lalbabu Raut reached Ramdaiya village of Kshireshwor Municipality Monday morning and made such an announcement in relief.

The highest number of people died in Ramdaiya village due to bootleg intake.

The death toll from the intake of toxic alcohol in the village has reached 17.

They were taken ill after consuming locally made liquor excessively in course of celebrating the Holi festival on March 10, the District Police Office said.
