‘One house, one woman employment’ program in Bareng

BAGLUNG: Bareng Rural Municipality has implemented the ‘one house, one woman employment’ program to promote women’s self-reliance.

Municipality Chairperson Krishna Prasad Sharma informed that the program has been implemented to engage women in the productive sector in a bid to promote their self-reliance.

The rural municipality has also announced a concession on the interest of the principal amount targeting aspiring women entrepreneurs.

“We have designed a package in such a way that rural municipality would pay the interest of the amount up to Rs 500,000 taken from any financial institutions within the rural municipality”, Sharma said.
