Restriction on Nepalis traveling to third countries via India

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Embassy in New Delhi has informed that restriction has been placed on Nepalis traveling to third countries from India after arriving through the land route.

Issuing a statement, the Embassy said that the Department of Immigration has directed the concerned not to affix a departure stamp in a bid to curtail human trafficking.

Indian Immigration will not affix arrival stamp if the departure stamp is not affixed, the Embassy stated while requesting all Nepali traveling to third countries to travel through Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
