Stalled talks between NCP heavyweights resumes

KATHMANDU: The stalled talks between the two chairmen of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) KP Oli  and Pushpa Kamal Dahal has resumed on Thursday.

They are holding talks at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar since 12 pm.

According to Surya Thapa, press adviser to the PM, a meeting between the two chairmen is underway.

“Two party chairmen are holding a meeting at Baluwatar,” said Thapa, adding, “They are dwelling on the appointment of Speaker and the MCC.”

The meeting between the two chairmen resumed today at a time when there have been reports of sour relationship  between the two.

There was no communication between the two heavyweights since Sunday.
