KATHMANDU: Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast snowfall and rains in the high-hilly and mountainous regions until Saturday.

The met office has said snowfall and rains are likely in the high-hilly and mountainous regions due to westerly wind. According to the Division, it will continue until Saturday.

The westerly wind had entered the western part of Nepal from Wednesday night.

Light rain is expected in a few places in the central and western regions with chances of partly cloudy weather in the hilly areas of western, central and in eastern regions.
